Our Mission

Our mission is to cultivate lifelong learners who are curious, compassionate, and empowered to explore, discover, and innovate. We strive to provide a nurturing environment that values hands-on experiences, student-led inquiry, collaboration, and a deep appreciation for reading and language development.

About Jain…

At Jain, we believe childhood is sacred — a time of wonder, curiosity, and deep connection.

Jain is a warm, winter-hearted preschool for children ages 3 to 6. We offer a one-of-a-kind educational experience grounded in the Montessori method, enriched by nature, inspired by Reggio Emilia and Waldorf, and held together by community. We’re not a franchise or a chain. We’re a small, soulful place where mud matters, play is honored, and children learn to care for the world around them.

We believe children deserve a joyful education and a strong foundation. At Jain, children are immersed in rich language experiences, explicit reading instruction, and hands-on learning that prepares them deeply for their academic journey. We take reading seriously, blending the science of reading with a whole-child approach that honors each learner.

Here, education isn’t rushed. It’s rooted.

We invite children into a space where they are seen, known, and trusted. Where they can spend the morning tending to animals, building elaborate block cities, practicing early math and reading skills, or learning how to resolve conflict with compassion.

With a 1:6 teacher-to-child ratio, our classroom environment stays intimate, intentional, and deeply personalized. Every child is guided with care, patience, and presence.

Every inch of Jain is designed to support whole-child development ,academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually , without screens, plastic noise toys, or overcrowded classrooms.

We are proudly small. Our multi-age classroom serves a maximum of 24 children, guided by nurturing educators who believe in the dignity and power of childhood.

Jain is not just a school. It’s a living, breathing community. We partner with families who value connection, creativity, and high-quality education , families who understand that childhood only happens once, and it matters.
